Deaf Development Programme

Catholic Visitors

Today we had a whole group of visitors from the Catholic Synod of the Diocese of Phnom Penh.  This is a group of Catholics who have come together in a multi-day conference with the Bishop Olivier to  share, learn, reflect, and pray.  The theme proudly displayed on their shirts is Charity in Action and today they traveled to see some of the ministries of the Catholic Church in Phnom Penh.  As a project of Maryknoll, the Deaf Development Programme was selected as a stop.  It was a great opportunity to spread awareness of the challenges faced by deaf Cambodians and the much-needed work of DDP.
