Shining shoes!
Today, one of DDP’s first students came by for a visit and to look for people who may need their shoes to be shined. Back before DDP was DDP, our shoe-shine friend was a part of the first classes just sitting on the floor in a big circle learning word after word, sign after sign. Maybe he realized after sitting eye-level with our shoes all those years ago that we would definitely have a need for his services!
