DAC International Day of the Deaf
The Disability Action Council, under the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth in Cambodia, hosted a ceremony to honor the International Day of the Deaf today. The students from DDP’s Basic Education Project, member of the Deaf community, and DDP staff attended along with our partners at Krousar Thmey and many other NGOs working with people with disabilities. In addition to the Minister speaking, a second-year student at DDP had the opportunity to share a bit of her story.
