DCC events went swimmingly
This past weekend, the Deaf Community Center in Phnom Penh celebrated the Lunar New Year – burnt offering included.
While DCC Kampong Cham took advantage of having an experienced swim teacher here, in the form of Sarah (our PACE volunteer). The Kampong Cham group had a real range of experiences but everyone seemed to learn a little something new.

Since about half of the participants have only been studying at DDP for one month, their sign language is limited. Luckily, Sarah is very skilled at gestures, so the message could get across without formal language.
